Windwalkers December 2006, Pottery, Rugs - Opened in Aug 2006, New owners are Abe and BJ. Located just east of Crossroads, they have expanded and have plans to showcase local artists.
JTNP Visitor Center June 2006, now open on Park Blvd.
Joshua Tree Music Store, between the Saloon and Thee Ink Cup Tattoo. They often play music outside under the tent!
Red Arrow Art Gallery, big red arrow by Sodaros, west of the Post Office.
Natures Pantry, next to the JT Chamber of Commerce.
Pet Food Store where the JT Bank used to be. Real friendly owners, lots of great pet food and supplies.

Gone, but not forgotten
Arturos is closed after more than 36 years, 'we'll miss you Ricky'. Rumor is that a new health food restaurant will be opening here.
Park Center, I miss your store dearly. Thanks Deb and Candy for all your help to local artists.

Rep. Mary Bono announced (HR6270) the California Desert and Mountain Heritage Act. This proposed legislation would designate approx. 129,000 acres as 'wilderness'.
